Have you ever sat in church on a Sunday morning, and heard the Bible readings for the day, and wondered: what was that all about? Or the reading reminded you of something that happened in your life just like that? Have you wanted to know more about the Bible? Have you ever wanted to contribute to some thinking about the sermon to come that Sunday? Have you ever wanted to give your two cents worth about Bible, or sermons?
Well, we have the answer for you! Bible Study! Come on Wednesdays at noon to 1pm, bring your lunch.
These are the understandings we have about how we study the Bible.
We are all experts. No one is more expert than any one else.
We are here to study the Bible, not each other.
We are here to listen to each other, therefore we shall not interrupt.
We shall not monopolize the discussion.
Everyone shall have the opportunity to speak.
Confidentiality is essential.
